We've introduced a new branch award which recognises a pub that forms a true part of the community - the beating heart so to speak.

A pub that puts something back into the community it serves and is, in fact, a fundamental part of that community.

A pub that provides an environment in which people can meet and socialise, foster friendships and ward off loneliness. A pub that organises a wide variety of events and activities; sponsors and supports local teams, groups, charities and businesses.

Not surprisingly, we've called it the Community Pub of the Year award.
