Our annual meeting to confirm committee officers and review the year's activities & events.
Branch Annual General Meeting Agenda
2018 Branch Constitution (.pdf)This is a particularly significant meeting, as two of our members are stepping down from the essential roles they currently hold:
- Branch Treasurer.
- Membership Secretary.
(see below for brief descriptions of these roles)
Their departure will place considerable pressure on the branch and its ability to function effectively as an active part of CAMRA's organisation. It is important that we fill these two posts as a matter of urgency.
If you’d like to volunteer or would like to know more, come along to the meeting, or you can email ku.gro.armac.sdd@tcatnoc.hcnarb.
Branch Roles - Descriptions and Expectations.
As highlighted above, this is a particularly important time for the branch, with two key roles becoming vacant:
Branch Treasurer
The Branch Treasurer is responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date branch accounts and supporting the smooth operation of the branch’s activities.
Membership Secretary
The Membership Secretary plays a central role in recruiting and welcoming new members, supporting member retention, and encouraging engagement in local CAMRA events and initiatives. How much commitment will it take?
As with all branch roles, the time commitment is flexible and can vary depending on your availability. However, there are key periods during the year - such as preparing for the Annual General Meeting - when it is essential to dedicate time to ensure important tasks are completed. - CAMRA Margate Pub Trail (Organised by Canterbury CAMRA)
