  • → Pub Crawl by Bus 43 Thursday 28 August 2025 12:15 Haywain, Bramling

    We'll be using the Canterbury - Dover Service 43/81.

    Meet at the Haywain, Bramling for lunch at 12.15. We'll then travel to the Anchor Inn, Wingham (2.15), the Volunteer Inn, Ash (3.15) and the Chequer Inn, Ash (4.00pm).

    We'll return to Canterbury, or Sandwich and Deal by Bus 43/18.

    Note: Due to roadworks in Deal, the 81 timetable might be disrupted, but this should not affect the general timings.

  • → CAMRA Bar at the Faversham Hop Festival Saturday 30 – Sunday 31 August 2025 Faversham Town Centre

    CAMRA's pop-up street bar, at the colourful Faversham Hop Festival, will be serving around 12 beers from 6 Kent breweries, plus ciders from 2 or 3 Kent cider producers. You'll usually find them on East Street, ME13 8AF.

    The bar is open from 10am to 5.30pm on Sat, 30th to Sun, 31st August.

    We're thrilled to announce that our Branch Summer Pub of the Year 2025 is the Chance Inn, Guston.

    Travelling from Dover.

    • Service 93 from Pencester Road at 13.07pm. Arrives at The Chance Inn at 13.19.
    • Service D is a service running every 20 mins from Pencester Road. Depart at 12.46pm to Dover Road, arriving 12.53. Then a short walk to the Chance Inn, arriving around 13.10.

    Back to Dover:

    • Service 93 to Pencester Road at 14.41pm. Arrives 14.55.
    • Short walk to Dover Road, then catch Service D back into Dover.

    Travelling from Deal.

    • To the Chance: Service 93 from South Street at 12.00pm. Arrives 12.41.
    • Service 12 at 12.30 to Swingate, arrives 12.45, then a short 20 min walk to the pub.

    Getting back to Deal:

    • Short 20 minute walk to Swingate then Service 81 at 14:35 or Service 12 at 15:00.

    The Maidstone and Mid Kent CAMRA branch's annual showcase event returns to the Research Centre, East Malling.

  • Time & Tide Rising Tide Craft Beer Festival 2025 Friday 24 – Saturday 25 October 2025 Canterbury Cathedral Lodge, Canterbury

    Celebrating craft beer at it’s best, their Rising Tide festival is now in it’s second year and is returning to the Canterbury Cathedral Lodge, situated within the stunning grounds of Canterbury Cathedral (a UNESCO World Heritage site), and less than an hour by train from London.
