This traditional Kentish Inn is located in the village of Lydden, just off the A2.

Inside, the wood-floored bar and restaurant offers plenty of room to eat and drink, in a relaxed, contemporary atmosphere.

At the back there is a large garden, which is used to host their Summer Sessions, featuring BBQ/hog roast, garden games, bouncy castle and live music. See their Facebook page for details.

The pub prides itself on its home-cooked menu using local ingredients. There's everything from a la carte, pub classics, bar & afternoon snacks and Sunday roast.

There's dog friendly B&B accommodation in the five ensuite rooms. The pub is part of the Britstop scheme, allowing self contained campers to stay overnight.

Being situated on the route of the Stagecoach Service 15 means the pub is easily accessible from Dover and Canterbury.Historic England Entry: 1070027Kent’s Public House Archive: Lydden Bell, Lydden
