See more about this pub on WhatPub, CAMRA's national pub guide.
This light & airy country pub is situated on the main road between Deal and Sandwich.
Primarily food-led there's still plenty of room for those who just want to pop in for a drink or two.
One real ale is available, but during the summer months a guest ale is added to the lineup. Cider is from Weston's.
Food is available all day and the pub's extensive menu of traditional home-made food will appeal to all tastes, including cream tea, afternoon tea and a Sunday roast.
During the summer you can sit out in the award-winning garden, which has a boguncy castle during the summer months and a large kitchen garden providing the pub with seasonal herbs, fruits and vegetable.
Entertainment includes a bi-monthly folk music night, charity quizzes and a quiz and curry night.
The pub runs its own loyalty card scheme and the landlady's homemade jams and pickles are available for purchase.Kent’s Public House Archive: Coach & Horses, HacklingePhotos courtesy of the Coach & Horses, Hacklinge.
